Scott Schlegel

Scott Schlegel (pronounced Schlay-gull) is attempting to become a full-time investor and writer.  He has successfully traded stocks for more than a decade.  He created the Proprietary SmashTrades Oscillators based on trends he noticed in individual stocks in 2007.  He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.  His professional experience includes project engineering at Fortune 500 companies, a developmental engineering officer in the military, and managing a health business on the side. He is getting married soon, and hopes to have children.  Trading currently provides ancillary income to help support the lifestyle desired by him and his family.  He hopes to make it the primary source of his income in the future.

He's learned a lot about trading, investing and economics from books and family.  He's built a list of economic indicators that help track the expansion or contraction of the US Economy.  These economic indicators have been proven time and time again for accurately forecasting recessions.  This information is used to prescribe risk-based investment allocations for various asset classes including stocks, government bonds, corporate bonds, and commodities.

He's actively contributed to friend and family email groups on investment ideas and timing for the last four years.  He will direct that energy into this website for subscribers.

He is also the owner and lead author of the website where he shares his views on Life and Nutrition.
